Management and Supervisory Skills for First-Time Managers

The Basic Concepts of Supervision focuses on the elements that new supervisors should be aware of: tasks of a leader, being a role model, motivation techniques, communication skills, problem solving and decision making, conflict and time management, customer service and stress management. The workshop is interactive with lecture, small and large group exercises and skill practices. Participants will have opportunities to ask and answer questions related to the subjects as described. PDH – 6 hours A Zoom link to attend will be sent the day before the class starts.
To earn Road Scholar Credit you must attend all three online sessions.
