In July, 2006, ATA was pleased to offer, to our qualifying members, workers’ compensation coverage through the ATA Workers’ Compensation Self-Insured Trust (ATAWCSIT). The ATAWCSIT began with 26 members and currently has 75 nonprofit members.

The ATAWCSIT was established to benefit our member organizations by offering workers’ compensation coverage with competitive and stable rates, and quality claims and other services from within Arkansas. The ATAWCSIT is managed by an eight member board comprised of representatives from the ATAWCSIT membership and operates under the authority of the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Risk Management Resources, a division of Cadence Insurance is the third-party administrator that manages ATAWCSIT claims and loss control. Claims services are handled through their offices.
