2023 Human Trafficking Summit
The Office of Attorney General Tim Griffin inaugural Human Trafficking Summit is being held on October 16-17, 2023. The Summit is free to attend and is open to the public to gain an understanding of child sex trafficking and how human trafficking is the second most profitable crime in the world. Attendees will hear from both national and local presenters on topics such as familial trafficking, trauma informed investigations, human trafficking in the private sector, and strategies to strengthen public and private partnerships. Jessika Svendgard, who testified in the Backpage trial will also provide a survivor’s perspective.
