SUMMARY:Let’s Dial-up Accurate GTFS Data for NTD Reporting and Rider Confidence
DESCRIPTION:Let’s Dial-up Accurate GTFS Data for NTD Reporting and Rider Confidence\nAccurate and up to date General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data is critical to ensure a positive rider experience. GTFS data requires maintenance and updates. Incorrect or expired GTFS data is often more confusing to the transit rider than having no data at all. Imagine waiting for a bus where the bus will no longer stop\, the service hours have changed because a holiday was not coded correctly\, or the route canceled altogether. This webinar will support rural transit agencies as they begin their GTFS updates. \nIntended for: Transit Agencies \nCost: FREE \nRegister Here: Click here

SUMMARY:Innovations for Energy-Efficient Transportation
DESCRIPTION:Innovations for Energy-Efficient Transportation\nTransportation is one of the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S.\, and reducing those emissions is key to tackling the climate crisis. New technologies—from eco-friendly navigation apps to connected and automated vehicles—offer exciting opportunities to make our transportation system cleaner and more energy efficient. But these tools can also create unexpected challenges\, like increased traffic congestion or higher overall emissions if not carefully designed. \nIntended for: All \nCost: FREE \nRegister Here: Click here

SUMMARY:Is Transit Investment an Economic Driver?
DESCRIPTION:Is Transit Investment an Economic Driver? \nPublic transportation has transitioned to a new post-pandemic pattern. Ridership has stabilized around new commute and non-commute trends. Fiscal outlooks remain a challenge as new strategies are under consideration to keep transit operating efficiently. Capital projects got a bump from the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act\, but future growth prospects for many transit systems are being undermined by a backlog of state-of-good repair needs\, and the rising costs for critical labor and system expansions. What should state legislators be considering to address the funding gaps facing transit agencies in their states? How have operational changes since the pandemic provided a new context? What economic returns do transit investments provide amid this evolving paradigm? \n\nIntended for: Transit Agencies \nCost: FREE \nRegister Here: Click here
